Welcome to Made from the Heart

 

Hello and Welcome to our shop.
Handmade Quilts, Coverlets and Throws
Using recycled fabrics, some new fabric is also introduced. Quilt wadding is new, hypo-allergenic and washable, making the quilts washable; childrens quilts in particular are easily washed and dried. Crochet Throws are made from mixed fibre yarn, therefore are all washable on a cool setting. The 'Grannie' squares and 'Hexagon' are used in various sizes to create them.
Handmade Cushions
Each cushion comes complete with removable pads, apart from Bench / Draught Excluder cushions are non removable. Made from recycled wool / fabrics and trimmings.
Handmade ‘Hearts Galore’
We love ‘Hearts’ made in fabrics, embroidered, appliquéd, with lace, ribbon and many other trimmings.
Handmade Woodcraft
Toys, gifts, home decor, hearts, are our take on gifts etc from our ‘childhood memories’ made by our parents.
Handmade Bunting
Bunting comes in various sizes and colours and can be used everywhere around the home. We have a selection of vintage embroidered linen bunting which would look great in the garden or conservatory.
Make do and Mend
We paint, refurbish and upholster items. Everything has a ‘New Life’!  We ‘Make Do & Mind’ small pieces of furniture, chairs etc as and when we acquire them.
Seasonal & Celebration
We add to section as the year goes by, with everything from wedding bunting and hearts, christening gifts, valentines, birthday and of course not forgetting our Christmas selection of home decor, gifts and toys.
Many of the items we make or refurbish are ‘one off’ simply because the fabrics are forever changing. Everything we sell is handmade, so there will be variations in either fabric or design. All sizes are approximate.

Hello and Welcome to our shop

Let us introduce ourselves, Teressa and Cecilia, we sew and craft wood to our hearts content! Using good quality recycled fabrics and reclaimed wood to produce decorative and useful items to enhance your home. We have lived with this ethic always, it is part of who we are, and our homes are testament to this. We hope you like what you see.
